Celtic hopes of beating Rangers to title rest on one major factor

The race for the league title looks like it will go down to the wire with the Glasgow rivals neck and neck at the summit.

One pundit believes that Celtic’s chances of defeating Rangers in the title match are dependent on one key element.

After the Light Blues were postponed at Dundee, Brendan Rodgers’ team leads Philippe Clement’s team by one point going into the international break, despite having played one extra game. Since an SPFL investigation is ongoing following the FOURTH Dens Park postponement of this campaign, a replacement date has not yet been scheduled.

In those final eight games, Celtic will play Rangers TWICE. Twice, at Ibrox immediately following the international break and once more at Parkhead amid the league division. These outcomes will be crucial for the Hoops’ chances of winning the league title this year, but Falkirk captain Stephen McGinn believes that Cameron Carter-Vickers has to be in the team for every minute of every game for the Hoops to succeed. ‘Pivotal’ is how fellow commentator and Celtic fan favourite John Hartson described him, praising his skills once more.
