Rodgers gives detailed timeline return*

It was possible for Brendan Rodgers to provide specific dates for Greg Taylor and Cameron Carter-Vickers’ injury recoveries.
After sustaining a calf injury during the Scottish Cup victory over Buckie Thistle, a week later, Carter-Vickers’ comeback from injury was cut short during the 1-0 victory over Ross County. As a result, the full-back has missed four games.

This season, injuries have plagued Celtic’s defence, but today at St. Mirren, a fresh back four kept a clean sheet.

Ange Postecoglou’s treble-winning squad had Taylor and Carter-Vickers as first picks, and both players looked on the verge of rejoining the club roster.
For us, Greg Taylor has been greatly missed. It’s only when he’s not on the squad that you can truly appreciate someone like Greg.

His intelligence, dexterity, technique, and physicality when sprinting and landing in the proper spots. He’s been working out again and should be ready for next weekend.

Carter-Vickers will not go on for very long. He’s out on the pitch once more, but this year hasn’t been easy for him.

He underwent surgery, and since then, he has experienced some discomfort. It may have taken him the entire year to recover from that and have a successful preseason. Nevertheless, he is back on the pitch and should be well in the coming weeks.

In spite of Alexandro Bernabei’s stronger performances against Hibs and St. Mirren, Taylor will return to the Celtic lineup for Saturday’s match against Kilmarnock, according to Rodgers’ remarks.

Although Rodgers would have been reassured by Stephen Welsh and Liam Scales’ performances that he has some depth in central defence, Carter-Vickers’ return to full fitness will be greatly appreciated following an injury-plagued season.
