Tuesday afternoon at Canford Park Arena, Charlton’s U21s were defeated 1-0 by AFC Bournemouth thanks to a goal in stoppage time.

On minute 18 the hosts came quite close to taking the lead. Noa Boutin drove down the left wing with great tenacity before setting up Daniel Adu-Adjei, who struggled to make a good connection with the ball and missed wide from close range.

After eight minutes, Bournemouth made some noise in the walls. Adu-Adjei slammed a shot against the near post after receiving the ball over the top of the Charlton defence.
