Body found in search for missing man in Chertsey

Surrey Police confirmed a man’s body was found in woodland in Chertsey on Thursday

As authorities searched for Phillip Tutton, the missing guy, they found a body.

Mr. Tutton, 33, of New Haw, did not show up for work in Camberley the next day as scheduled and has not spoken to friends or family since Thursday, June 4.
Since Mr. Tutton’s car was found, police have been searching the area near St. Ann’s Lake in Chertsey for the past two days.

On Thursday night, Surrey Police verified that a body had been discovered in a woodland.

The family of Phillip has been notified, although the body has not yet been officially recognised.
According to the police, the death is being investigated as inexplicable, but no outside parties are suspected of being involved. A case will be created.

A Surrey Police spokesman thanked Surrey Search and Rescue Service and others who assisted with the investigation.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time,” she added.
