Man’s body found in wooded area in Chertsey

A body has been found in a wooded area of Chertsey .

Officers from Surrey Police were called to St Anne’s Hill car park at around 11.30am following reports of a “concern for safety”.

There, the body of a man was discovered in a wooded area near the car park.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said officers are investigating the circumstances of the death, which is being treated as unexplained at this time.

The force, however, added it does not believe there are any suspicious circumstances or third party involvement in the death.
