Two men are killed and one injured after horror crash in Chertsey

Two cars collided in Surrey, UK, resulting in the deaths of two males in their 20s.

Around 8.45 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the police, a blue Volkswagen Golf and a blue Volkswagen Sharan were involved in an incident on Guildford Road in Chertsey.

Two men, the driver and the passenger from the Golf, both in their 20s, were tragically pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Surrey Police spokesman.

The other car’s driver was rushed to the hospital with injuries that, at this point, are not thought to be life-threatening or transformative.

“The road stays closed as emergency personnel, such as fire and ambulance crews, handle the situation.”

The spokesman appealed for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

He added: “We would particularly like to speak to a man and a woman in a small white vehicle who stopped immediately after the collision took place but left before we could speak to them.”
