The Cleveland Browns are hoping to add a few players to their roster in the latter stages of the 2023 regular season as it approaches its conclusion.

Thus, according to Aaron Wilson on Twitter, they worked out five players in total on Friday: DL Matthieu Betts, DL Josiah Bronson, OG Jerome Carvin, OL Vitaliy Gurman, and OT Lewis Kidd.

The Browns haven’t made any announcement about signing any of these players as of yet.

At the beginning of the season, Carvin, an undrafted rookie offensive guard from the University of Tennessee, was added to the Kansas Chiefs practice squad.

He was later waived, though, and returned to IR.

Gurman is an offensive tackle from the University of Toledo. He has been on the league’s practice squads multiple times, but he has never been on the field.

Kidd was cut by the Saints last season and was most recently released by the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.

Although none of these players are anticipated to be game-changers, they could all provide depth to the offensive and defensive lines because they are young, hungry, and eager to prove themselves.
