Could the Browns target these low-risk free-agent..

Ohio’s Cleveland Over the next few months, the Browns will bolster their roster, but the targets they choose to pursue will be crucial. Here are three possibilities that Cleveland might consider that offer a combination of low risk and big reward:

One might be J.K. Dobbins, the running back, who had an Achilles tear that ended his Baltimore season. The lone season he has seen double ten games (15), rushing for 805 yards and nine touchdowns, is his debut campaign in 2020.

The other two candidates, edge rusher Chase Young and linebacker Randy Gregory of San Francisco, are now getting ready for Super Bowl LVIII. Following the big game, both will be free agents.

Although Cleveland’s linebacker group performed better than expected, adding more wouldn’t hurt given the amount of injuries. Gregory, a seasoned player who has recorded 6.0 sacks in two different seasons during his career, may be a reliable rotational player.

Since his Pro Bowl debut season in 2020, injuries have hampered Young. Nevertheless, he has been reliable ever since, tying a career high this season with 7.5 sacks between his games with Washington and San Francisco.
