So sad: Cleveland loses another offensive lineman for the season

Jedrick Wills Jr. had arthroscopic knee surgery this morning and is out for the year.

In addition to Dawand Jones, the Cleveland Browns have added Jedrick Wills’ name to their long list of season-ending injuries, and let’s hope he’s the last one.

After his knee scope earlier in the season, it appears that Wills and the team had hoped that his knee would heal on its own. Sadly, this was not the case. Surgery seemed to be the best course of action, and team physician James Voos, MD, reported that he had a successful knee procedure performed this morning at University Hospitals Drusinksy SMI.

Geron Christian will most likely start at left tackle for the remainder of the season as a result of this news. If the Browns decide to promote Alex Leatherwood or Justin Murray to the active roster for depth concerns, there’s also a strong possibility that the team will add another offensive lineman to the practice squad.

As more information about the roster and injuries becomes available, we’ll keep you informed.
