It appears like Sheffield Wednesday’s main player won’t be available for tomorrow’s FA Cup replay against Coventry City.
Sheffield Wednesday, who have lost their last three meetings with Coventry City, is getting ready to play them for the fourth time this season.
A last-minute equaliser by Djeidi Gassama dragged the Sky Blues into a replay in the Midlands following back-to-back losses in the Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday may need to go without Josh Windass in order to recover from their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Huddersfield Town this past weekend.
Journalist Alex Miller of The Star claims that Windass is a “huge doubt” for tomorrow’s match.
“Injured at current – will be monitored day-to-day, big doubt for Cov,” he wrote about X.
The thirty-year-old was not included on the trip to Huddersfield, and it is currently unknown when he will play again.
With five of his six goal contributions coming from his last eight outings for Sheffield Wednesday, Josh Windass’ absence is a major loss.
