Journalist Alan Nixon claims that Coventry City is up against fierce competition from a European team in their attempt to capture an undisclosed target.
The Robins are currently third in the Championship form table because to their recent excellent play, which has seen them win nine straight games.
With just one loss in their previous 12 league games, Coventry has risen to sixth position.
Mark Robins wants to bolster his team during the current transfer window in order to maintain their chances of promotion.
The Coventry manager has already decided which positions he wants to fill, and his goals include adding a left-sided wide player and a center-back.
There have been rumours that Coventry is working on a deal with an unidentified aspirational target.It is now said that Coventry is facing competition for their target from a European organisation.
It’s unclear if Coventry will be able to finalise a deal to move the player to England this month because the European team hasn’t agreed on a transfer cost for the Robins target.
