Sporting – who raided the Sky Blues for Viktor Gyokers last summer – are said to be looking closely at the central defender, who has made 37 Championship appearances for Coventry City so far this season.
Ajax are also keen, however, with the Telegraph report claiming that they have cast eyes on the 24-year-old this campaign.
When asked about the transfer links recently, Coventry City boss Mark Robins was not keen to be drawn into a discussion, with the club still having plenty to play for on the pitch.

In light of the aforementioned, we were interested in learning what Coventry City fans thought of the transfer rumour.
We got an idea from FLW’s Coventry City fan analyst Neil Littlewood, who acknowledged that he was taken aback to learn that the 24-year-old was connected to the aforementioned teams.
Neil told FLW that he was “massively surprised about the Latibeaudiere links.”
“Don’t get me wrong, he’s a fantastic utility player who has filled in for us at right back, centre defence, and central midfield. Although he has never been the first name on the team sheet, he has been a crucial member of the group.
“Yet, he’s given us depth in three spots with just one signing, which is value for money and everything, but to see him leave to Sporting or Ajax. That’s one thing we were lacking this season.
“It’s a great move for the boy if they go in for him, and you can’t blame him if that was the move he wanted to make.”
“I believe that any price tag is worthwhile because we received him for free.
A club of that calibre would likely demand between £2 and £3 million. You can’t charge more than that, in my opinion. He’s not the first name on the team sheet, or anything.
“I would wish him all the best and it’s a good profit if he departs as well. He’s a pretty kind guy who appears to have the Cov’s support; he’s active on social media.
