A man has been found dead and a woman died of her injuries a short time later.
The man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Caludon Road, Coventry, West Midlands Police said.
The woman, in her 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died a short time later.
Officers said they were called to the address at 05:30 BST and added they were still working to discover what happened.
The man and woman were believed to have been known to each other and their next-of-kin were being supported by West Midlands Police.
“We’re not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at this stage,” a spokesman said.
