Crystal Palace confident over Michael Olise boost after latest hamstring injury>

The Eagles star will probably only miss a couple of games in January before playing again.

With his most recent hamstring injury, Michael Olise should not miss a lot of games, according to Crystal Palace.

Olise has not played since he hobbled off against Brentford in stoppage time on December 30, and it seems likely that he will miss the rest of January.

With the exception of their FA Cup third-round rematch against Everton, Palace only has two more Premier League games left this month. The Eagles are optimistic that Olise will return in February.

Olise will undoubtedly miss the Premier League away match against Arsenal three days later and the trip to Everton on January 17.

On January 30, Palace welcomes bottom team Sheffield United to Selhurst Park in the hopes that Olise will be nearing a comeback.

The 22-year-old was playing well before his most recent injury, having scored four goals in as many games.

While playing for the France Under-21 team in June, Olise suffered a significant hamstring strain that prevented him from playing until November 11. However, his most recent injury is to his hamstring.

Last week, Standard Sport disclosed that Manchester United is preparing a summer transfer for Olise.

“Michael had to come off right at the end as he felt his hamstring with the last sprint he made in the game,” stated Palace manager Roy Hodgson regarding his injury.

“How long he is out will be the next inquiry, but I am unable to respond to that one. Our hope is that it won’t be as horrible as the one from earlier in the summer. It won’t be, in our opinion.
