Ex-Chelsea manager link to crystal palace grows stronger>

Potter was sighted in the stands during Arsenal’s Premier League comeback matchup with Palace. After barely seven months in charge at Stamford Bridge, the former Chelsea manager was fired by the Blues, and he hasn’t been employed since. Potter hasn’t decided on his future move despite being linked to positions at Palace, West Ham, Lyon and Manchester United.

Where Potter will play next is unknown, but if Crystal Palace decides to break ways with Hodgson, he is reportedly an option. The 76-year-old has been under pressure at Selhurst Park as Palace is falling in the Premier League standings. Potter will probably not benefit from a crushing loss to Arsenal, especially with the crowd in the stands.

Potter’s point total per game is the equal lowest of any manager to have overseen more than 20 Premier League games for Chelsea.

Potter was present when Gabriel’s header, Dean Henderson’s own goal, and Leandro Trossard’s goal put Arsenal ahead of Palace. The Eagles’ next game is against Sheffield United, who are now last in the Premier League; a loss would put more pressure on Hodgson.
