Crystal Palace make move to sign awesome player.

Rumour has it that Crystal Palace is trying to win the race for Chelsea attacker Armando Broja.

Under Hodgson, Crystal Palace was formed.
Under Roy Hodgson, the Eagles have had a dismal run of play, winning just one of their previous 12 games across all competitions. As a result, Hodgson’s future is now uncertain, as potential successors to the current Palace manager include Steve Cooper and Julen Lopetegui.

The club’s fortunes might be improved with a change in the dugout, but Dougie Freedman and Steve Parish still have the January transfer window to bolster their roster.

This month, Selhurst Park has been connected to a new attacker. Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal has been the subject of an offer, while Jhon Cordoba of FC Krasnodar and Jack Clarke of Sunderland have also been mentioned as potential targets. According to a recent update, Broja seems to be another target.

Update on Armando Broja’s move
Crystal Palace has reportedly contacted Chelsea to show interest in a trade for Broja, according to HITC. But the Eagles are not alone—Wolves, Fulham, and West Ham have already taken similar action.

According to the report, Chelsea is willing to let go of the forward before the January transfer window closes and is seeking a minimum of £35 million in exchange for his services. A loan with a purchase obligation is yet another way the Blues are amenable to doing business.

Although he has only made starts at Stamford Bridge, the 22-year-old has only scored three goals in all competitions since the start of the 2022–2023 season.

Frank Lampard, a former manager of Chelsea and Everton who watched the forward up close while he was at Stamford Bridge, has previously lauded Broja.

“He’s a very talented young boy and a very nice, good lad.”He joined us in the beginning of the Covid era, trained with us, and shown the qualities that, in my opinion, Southampton is currently displaying in the Premier League. I’m fully aware of his advantages in a Southampton squad that is performing admirably because he is quick, strong, has an excellent eye for goal, and is a very, very fine young player.

In the meanwhile, Broja has already been praised by football talent evaluator Jacek Kulig, who listed his qualities back in 2022.

Therefore, securing the services of someone like Broja ahead of the likes of Fulham, Wst Ham and Wolves could be just what the Eagles need for the remainder of the season and in the long run, making this one to keep an eye on.
