Crystal Palace star ruled out for six weeks in another huge Injury

Crystal Palace worry that Eberechi Eze’s hamstring injury could keep him out for six weeks.

The midfielder will also miss England’s games this month against Australia and Italy.

Eze was substituted after 88 minutes for Palace in their 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old has started the season in excellent form but his injury is a major blow for Palace, who are also without Michael Olise as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Olise and new signing Matheus Franca are not expected back until late October, while Dean Henderson, Jefferson Lerma and Naouirou Ahamada are also out injured.

Eze made his England debut in June against Malta, and he received his second cap in a friendly victory against Scotland last month at Hampden Park.

After having a respectable start to the season under Roy Hodgson, Palace is currently ninth in the Premier League and will take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday at Selhurst Park.
