At present, authorities are attending to a collision on the A596 Wigton Bypass.
Traffic was backed up on the blocked road.
“Please use alternative routes until more updates are provided,” a police spokesperson said.
The collision, which occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m., involved an HGV and a car.
No injuries have been reported.
