Tragically, three individuals have perished in an automobile accident on the A13 in Essex.
Not long after 10 o’clock on Monday night, police, firemen, and ambulances arrived at the Rainham location. The three individuals passed away at the site despite their best attempts. After the ordeal, one more individual is reportedly in the hospital.
Several agencies were called in to assist with the catastrophic crash, including Essex Police and the Met Police. The event happened in Wennington, near the Lakeside junction, which leads to London. “Police were called to the A13 in Wennington Marshes, Rainham, shortly after 22.00hrs on Monday, 15 July,” a spokeswoman for the Met Police stated.
“Paramedics from the London Fire Brigade and the East of England Ambulance Service attended, in addition to officers. It was discovered that three cars had been in an accident. Regretfully, three persons passed away there. One more person was brought to the hospital for medical attention. It is not thought that their wounds pose a threat to their lives.”
A road was closed overnight in reaction to the incident, according to police confirmation. Since then, there has reportedly been traffic mayhem on the M25 due to the event. The Southend Echo said that drivers had to wait anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes earlier. The police are still in the area, according to the AA, which also issued a caution. “Long delays due to crash investigation work on A13 Eastbound from Ferry Lane to A1306 (Wennington Interchange),” the alert stated.

In an update this morning, the agency said: “The A13 westbound has reopened between the M25 J30 and Rainham (FerryLane) following a serious collision overnight. There are 2 miles congestion causing 20 min delays above normal travel time following this incident so please allow time for delays to clear.”
