Woman killed in crash where car was being chased by Police in Dartford

A young woman who tragically died in a motorcycle crash on the M25 has been named locally as Andrina Everett. The fatal collision happened at Junction 30 in Thurrock at the Mardyke Junction on Sunday (August 5).

Emergency services attended the incident at around 11.40am. Despite efforts from police officers and paramedics, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men, aged 18 and from Essex, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. and remain in custody. The car was involved in a car pursuit involving officers from Dartford Police prior to the collision.

The victim has been named locally as a popular member of local biking groups. A GoFundme page has been set up, raising more than £5,000 to fund her funeral.

Following a mandatory referral by Kent Police to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), the IOPC is investigating the circumstances surrounding the police pursuit.
