Police lunch investigation after two women stabbed to death in Dereham

Police in Norfolk are hunting a man who stabbed two women to death  in an alleyway in Dereham.

The attack happened at around 6am on Saturday 29 June close to a car park near Jolleys in Yaxham Road.

Police in Norfolk are hunting a man who stabbed two people in an alleyway in Dereham. 

The victims were treated by paramedics then taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for further treatment but were both confirmed dead later.

A woman in her 40s from the Dereham area was arrested but released on police bail.

“We are treating this as an isolated incident and it is believed that those involved are known to each other.

“I would urge anyone with information about this incident to get in touch with us.”
