WARNING, STRONG LANGUAGE:Marc White vows to play fan at right-back after defeat

A non-league boss has been praised for his brutal honesty after vowing to play a fan in the wake of a heavy defeat.

Struggling Dorking Wanderers were blitzed 6-0 by promotion-chasing Barnet in the National League. It was game over by half-time at The Hive, with the home side leading 4-0. The Bees added two more late goals to push Dorking a step closer to the relegation trapdoor.

No-nonsense boss Marc White read the riot act to his players after the game and gave an X-rated interview to club media. He even threatened to field a supporter at right-back for their next game against Bromley on Good Friday.

He yelled, “These boys get paid good f****** money.” “They need to improve since they use their money to pay for mortgages.

“I’ve given too many people warnings already. I fear that people will know why one of our supporters is playing right-back and not wonder, f******. Since I would rather die fighting alongside guys who genuinely love the club than with guys who have received fifteen warnings about their mental capacity.

Though he added, “Listen, they’re nice guys, but they’ve not got the mental capacity to play at the level,” White did have some positive things to say about his players. That’s the way things are. I support myself as well as many of our players, and I won’t allow them disappoint me.

Fans admired White’s openness. “Brilliant listen,” exclaimed one. Hearing interviews from real people is very energising. To put it bluntly, although you may find it harsh, it’s honest. However, this clip made me cry.

“I hope they can stay up,” another person said. This guy speaks the truth and is very refreshing. “I love this dude!” exclaimed a third. For real!

With six games remaining in the season, Dorking is in last place in the National League. In one of the most competitive relegation battles in the division’s history, they are three points outside of safety.
