After that, Verna set up a meeting and introduced the undercover cops.

According to police, Polycarpe pretended to scan the fictitious tickets and let the undercover agents into the stadium.

Grand theft, illegal use of a communications device, and organised scheme to defraud are the three charges that led to the arrest of all three men.

Police claim that after receiving promises of two tickets under section 245, other victims used Venmo to pay Verna $500. This information was discovered during the investigation.
