The Academy will host its first ever business fair at the Eco-Power Stadium on Friday, May 10 as we seek to build stronger bonds with the local community.
The event is designed to forge relationships between the Academy and businesses for collaboration and explore possibilities for sponsorship and partnership, as well as connecting businesses in the area together in a productive community.
With the Academy’s commitment to preparing its young players for adult life, it is hoped that such collaboration will open up potential career pathways for those who may not progress into full time professional football at the end of their scholarships.
Head of Academy business operations Stuart Swift said: “This is the first tiem the Academy has ever created a commercial strategy and we could be one of the first football academies in the country to excel in this space.
“On a personal note, I’m deeply supportive that we as a football club and an academy build bridges with the community to provide both amazing experiences and future career transitions for our players.
“We’d love for you to be involved on the day and hope you can become a huge supporter and potential partner of the Academy moving forward.”
