Dragons fans set the biggest record of Super League history

The latest round of Super League attendance figures have been released, with Catalans Dragons having the highest figure of the weekend. Steve McNamara’s side defeated the Leeds Rhinos 26-0 in Perpignan, in front of 9,546 fans at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

In other news, Warrington Wolves defeated Hull KR 20-8 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in front of 8,578 fans, with the Wire providing a functional and gritty account.

The Leythers humiliated the Salford Red Devils in front of 8,103 spectators in Leigh. Adrian Lam’s team dominated, winning 40-12.

St Helens defeated Castleford Tigers 60-4 at Wheldon Road, while Wigan Warriors beat Huddersfield Giants 48-6 at John Smith’s Stadium.

Finally, 3,225 people attended Wimbledon to see the London Broncos win their first Super League game, defeating Hull FC 34-18 at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
