Five-star guard Cayden Boozer of Columbus High School (Fla.), the son of 2001 Duke basketball national champion Carlos Boozer, isn’t the best player in his class as he is ranked No. 17 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

Even though his twin brother Cameron Boozer, a five-star forward and fellow Blue Devil target, is ranked second overall, he isn’t even the highest ranked Boozer.
However, on Wednesday night, Cayden Boozer led Columbus to an 81-78 victory at home against Prolific Prep (Calif.), a strong team that included Tyran Stokes and AJ Dybantsa, two five-star forwards who are ranked among the top 2025 and 2026 prospects. With 13 points from Cameron Boozer, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound skillful backcourt weapon concluded with a team-high 25 points.

Two weeks ago, the Boozer twins, who received an offer from Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer in May 2022, paid the Blue Devils an official visit. They were present for the team’s home defeat by Arizona.
