Duke basketball: 4 commits sign NLIs, one 5-star prospect

Duke basketball: One 5-star prospect is still unsigned, while four commits have signed NLIs.

Four Duke basketball commits have signed their National Letters of Intent.

National Signing Week has arrived in college sports and the Duke basketball commits are making their decisions final by putting pen to paper and signing their National Letters of Intent.

Cooper Flagg, Patrick Ngongba II, Kon Knueppel, and Darren Harris, four of the five recruits for the Blue Devils, officially signed on Wednesday; Isaiah Evans, one of the five-star prospects, has not yet done so.

After visiting both programs, Jon Scheyer’s top-ranked player in the class, Flagg, revealed last week that he had decided to attend Duke instead of UConn.

Flagg is not the most recent commit to the Blue Devils, though, as Patrick Ngongba, who chose the team over Kentucky and Kansas State on Saturday and traveled to Durham to join his Paul VI (Virginia) teammate Darren Harris, revealed his decision.

Harris, a 4-star shooting guard, was the first player in the class to commit to Duke over a year ago in October of 2022.

Kon Knueppel is another recent pledge for the 5-time National Champions after he took an official visit on September 15 and committed just six days later.

Duke basketball awaiting final commit to sign

Isaiah Evans is still yet to sign with Duke and speculation continues to grow whether or not he will remain committed to the Blue Devils.

Chatter that Evans could decommit over the weekend after the program landed Patrick Ngongba and picked up several predictions for 5-star wing VJ Edgecombe, who has narrowed his choices between Duke and St. John’s.
