A Duke basketball legend and teammate to Carlos Boozer is pitching in with the Blue Devils’ recruiting efforts.
But there was more to come in the much-heralded Boozer twins’ official visit this weekend. It was only the fourth official visit in their recruitments, as the sons of former Duke basketball national champion and two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer previously checked out Kentucky, Florida, and Miami this fall. And on Sunday night, electric guard Jay Williams, who played with Carlos Boozer for three years (1999–02) as a member of the Blue Devils (1999–02), whose No. 22 will always be hanging from Cameron’s rafters, added his opinion on where he believes Cayden Boozer, a crafty 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard who is ranked No. 17 on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, should go to college.
Williams wrote, “Come home, brother!!!” in response to Cayden Boozer’s Instagram photos.
Take note that the first seven images in the post above feature just Cayden Boozer, who is seen on Coach K Court in the locker room with the Blue Devils’ exclusive “Brotherhood” shirt. In the final image, Cayden and Cameron Boozer—named for Cameron Indoor Stadium—wear the jerseys and gesture at their mother, who is wearing a Blue Devil jacket:
At the time of publication, 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward Cameron Boozer, who was ranked second among high school juniors in the country, had not uploaded any photos from his visit to Duke to Instagram.
Stars of Columbus High School in Miami, Cayden and Cameron Boozer, have not yet announced the finalists. Neither twin has ruled out the prospect of attending different schools, despite the fact that it seems implausible.
