Duke Basketball Recruiting: One Boozer Twin Has Decision Timeline in Mind

The two recruits who have been 2025 Duke basketball targets the longest are in no hurry to figure out their best destination.

Columbus High School (Fla.) five-star juniors Cayden and Cameron Boozer may well go their separate ways for college. And there’s no guarantee either of Duke basketball legend Carlos Boozer’s twin sons will commit to the Blue Devils.

Judging by their comments to the media at the Holiday Hoopsgiving showcase in Atlanta on Friday night, it sounds like neither is close to deciding on a winner in his recruitment.

“I think I’m definitely going to take my time on it,” Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard who ranks No. 17 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, said about his decision timeline. “It’s a big decision, and I don’t want to rush it.”

As for Cameron Boozer, No. 2 overall in the class, the 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward said that he’s eyeing the start of his senior year (so, late next summer) to pick a school.
