Ebbsfleet have completed the permanent signing of a defender – who first appeared for the club on loan eight years ago.
Centre-back Louis John joins from Sutton United, having had his contract cancelled by mutual consent at Gander Green Lane.
After spending nine years with Sutton, where he amassed 283 appearances, the 30-year-old is back at Stonebridge Road after making two appearances for the Fleet during a brief loan period in November 2016.
John said to FleetTV, “I remember coming in back then; it was quite early on in my career.” “The club wanted to advance and was making progress. Though my stay was brief, I had a great experience, and I’m happy to be returning.”I spent a total of nine seasons at Sutton, and throughout that time, we accomplished a lot. Although I had a nice experience there, I believe that this is the ideal time for me to start over, and maybe we can accomplish comparable goals.
