Police were alerted to the discovery near Abbotsford Garden in the area at about 11:30.
Emergency services were called and part of a nearby walkway was shut off. The man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Officers are treating the death as unexplained and inquiries remain at an early stage, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
The police has therefore urged the public to remain calm as the situation is fully under control.
