FC Cincinnati 2 today released the team’s full 2024 MLS NEXT Pro schedule, in conjunction with the league’s full schedule release Thursday afternoon. Starting on Friday, March 15, and ending on Sunday, October 6, with Decision Day, is the MLS NEXT Pro regular season.
On Sunday, March 17 at 7 p.m. ET, the Orange and Blue kick off their third MLS NEXT Pro campaign against Chicago Fire FC II at Scudamore Field at NKU Soccer Stadium. For the second year in a row, FC Cincinnati 2 will begin the season at home, hosting three of their first four games in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
Matchweek 2 will see FC Cincinnati 2 travel to Finley Stadium to play Chattanooga FC, one of the two new independent teams in the league, on March 23 for their first road game of the year. On Saturday, June 15, the Orange and Blue will travel to Carolina Core for their very first meeting.

On Sunday, May 12, the Orange and Blue will travel to Lower.com Field to play the first game of a three-game season series against their in-state foe, Columbus Crew 2. On Sunday, July 21, FC Cincinnati 2 will play at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus once more. On Sunday, September 15, FC Cincinnati 2 will host Crew 2 at Scudamore Field.
The Orange and Blue will play in the Northeast Division in 2024 as a result of conference reconfiguration, which will see them leave the Central Division. During the regular season, FC Cincinnati 2 will play three-match series against Chicago Fire II, New England Revolution II, Philadelphia Union II, and Toronto FC II as part of a restructuring that aims to foster regional rivalries around the league.
On Sunday, October 6 at 1 p.m. ET, FC Cincinnati 2 plays Orlando City B in their last MLS NEXT Pro regular season match at TQL Stadium. This is the team’s only season encounter with the Lions. This match will mark the third MLS NEXT Pro game played at TQL Stadium without a loss for the Orange and Blue.
Expanded to 16 teams (eight from each conference), the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro playoffs kick began on October 18 and follow a pick-your-opponent structure for the first two rounds of the postseason action.
