Done deal: Fulham make decision on future of 26-year-old Tottenham target

Fulham are reportedly set to block any potential bids for key defender Tosin Adarabioyo in the upcoming January transfer window amid interest from fellow Londoners Tottenham Hotspur.

Tosin Adarabioyo, a target for Tottenham, is out of contract this summer, but the Cottagers are determined to reject any approaches for the 26-year-old in January, according to Football Insider. Adarabioyo has declined offers of a new contract.

The English centre back, whose contract with the Cottagers expires at the end of the current campaign, joined the team from Manchester City in 2020. Following his interest from AS Monaco in Ligue 1 and Tottenham Hotspur, he was linked to a move away last summer.

Although Football Insider reports that the two sides are still at odds and that he is expected to leave the club, Fulham is attempting to convince him to sign new terms at Craven Cottage.

Fulham still anticipates Adarabioyo, a product of the Manchester City academy, to stay in January even though he may depart for free at the end of the current campaign. Beginning next month, Tosin will have the option to sign a pre-contract with a foreign team.
