Fulham are reportedly lining up a January swoop for Montpellier striker Akor Adams.
Raul Jimenez was acquired by the Cottagers in the summer to take Aleksandar Mitrovic’s place. Nevertheless, Jimenez has only scored four goals in 16 league games since moving to Craven Cottage, failing to live up to the hype. Marco Silva is reportedly compiling a list of targets and is looking for reinforcements upfront in January.

Following the summer transfer window loss of Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League, Fulham is looking to add more strikers in January. With just six goals apiece thus far, Jimenez, Carlos Vinicius, and Rodrigo Muniz have found it difficult to replace Mitrovic’s output.
Right now, Marco Silva’s team could use more goals up front. The Portuguese tactician is taking a risk by mostly depending on wingers and midfielders to find the net. If the Cottagers are to maintain their current momentum and aim for a top-half finish, they will need a strong striker, and Montpellier’s Akor Adams would be a useful asset in that pursuit.
