Fulham and Crystal Palace clash over sunderland key player

Transfer gossip: Crystal Palace, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are showing interest in a Sunderland player ahead of January.

Sunderland’s former West Ham midfielder Pierre Ekwah is the subject of transfer interest from the Premier League, according to several reports ahead of January.

Several Premier League clubs are reportedly “catching the eye” on the 21-year-old. The Evening Standard reports that while Sunderland is eager to hold onto the young French player, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest are all keeping an eye on him as 2023 draws to a close.

Ekwah arrived at the Black Cats from West Ham at the beginning of the season. He had a difficult start to his career at Sunderland before concluding the previous campaign under former head coach Tony Mowbray.

The midfielder’s contract is believed to have a sell-on clause, and Stuttgart of the Bundesliga is one of the teams that reportedly expressed interest in him during the summer. The midfielder is also believed to have attracted serious attention from other teams on the day of the previous summer’s transfer deadline.
