Fulham made agreement to sign £30m Chelsea player

When the transfer market is open, Chelsea is seldom quiet, and they have a lot on their plate this month.

Chelsea is trying to find fresh players. Chelsea is interested in Marc Guehi, and they also like Liam Delap.

The agenda at Stamford Bridge also includes some outgoings.

Both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka could be sold.

Ben Jacobs, who has been talking about Dewsbury-Hall’s future on The Done Deal Show, claims that West Ham and Fulham are two possible suitors for the Chelsea midfield player.

Fulham or West Ham could move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Jacobs gave an update on Dewsbury-Hall’s situation at Chelsea.

The midfielder has barely played this season and a January move could be on the cards.

According to Jacobs, Fulham and West Ham are potential suitors, while there was a suggestion that Brighton could renew their summer interest.

“I’d also keep an eye on West Ham for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as well. Dewsbury-Hall is a surprising one because he only joined over the summer for £30m, he played under Maresca at Leicester and he’s liked by his teammates.

“I think Chelsea will be very understanding of Dewsbury-Hall’s situation if the right opportunity presents itself, I’d keep an eye on West Ham and possibly Fulham and remember Brighton wanted the player over the summer.”

Fulham and West Ham midfield options analysed

Dewsbury-Hall potentially has two London-based Premier League options here, and if he has to choose between Fulham and West Ham, this could be a tough call.

Indeed, the last thing Dewsbury-Hall wants right now is to end up at another club where he’s going to consistently be on the bench.

There are several midfield possibilities for both West Ham and Fulham, but Dewsbury-Hall would be better off joining West Ham.

Although many of West Ham’s midfield options are fairly defensive-minded, Guido Rodriguez has received criticism this season, and the system is set to change with the arrival of a new manager.

Marco Silva has a lot of midfield depth for Fulham, so it’s unlikely that he will alter his lineup to make room for Dewsbury-Hall anytime soon.

There isn’t much space in the Fulham XI for Dewsbury-Hall right now, but Andreas Pereira’s reported departure from Fulham might make a difference.

Perhaps a move to the London Stadium could be just what Dewsbury-Hall needs to reignite his career.
