Galatasaray super star- £13M FULHAM TARGET HAS AGREED TO TERMS TO JOIN FULHAM

According to reports, Victor Nelsson is determined to leave Turkish champions Galatasaray, with Premier League team Fulham lining up a possible £13 million January signing.

Galatasaray’s deputy chairman Erden Timur admits to Fanatik that Victor Nelsson has little interest in extending his contract, which now has fewer than two years remaining, in an interview regarding the future of his Denmark international center-half.

And Fulham’s ears might be pleased by this.

According to Takvim, the Cottagers are eager on the highly-rated Nelsson, and Galatasaray may be forced to consider somewhat low-ball proposals, possibly around £13 million, due to his contract status.

Fulham target Victor Nelsson wants Galatasaray exit

“We had a conversation with Nelson,” adds Timur. “At this time, he does not intend to renew the contract. He does, however, have a two-year contract left.

Nelsson’s position has been further reinforced by the fact that, since Davinson Sanchez joined Fulham from its London rivals Tottenham Hotspur back in September, he has been left off of Ismail Kartal’s starting lineup.

Every football player wants to play. It is a good thing not to accept being a substitute,” Timur adds. “His current idea is not to extend the contract.”

Nelsson, a talented, right-sided centre-half who recently helped Galatasaray claim a famous Champions League win away at Manchester United, may be viewed at Fulham as a replacement for Tosin Adarabioyo.

Adarabioyo looks destined to depart in 2024, after all, his deal up in just 10 months.

Fulham also want a striker

“There has been interest and offers from clubs that I really want to join. I’d have liked to have moved,” Nelsson told Danish publication Tipsbladet recently. “I’ve had some talks with them.

“I informed (Galatasaray) after the last international break that I don’t want to extend my contract. I have three years left on my contract, and I just can’t see myself extending another year.”

Fulham are also in the market for a striker capable of filling Aleksandr Mitrovic’s boat-sized shoes, with Stuttgart’s Bundesliga record-breaker Serhou Guirassy and Gent ‘phenomenon’ Gift Orban among the potential candidates.
