JUST IN; Fulham has Agree on signing Premier League midfielder…

This might greatly booster Marco Silva’s team

According to a recent update, Fulham is considering making a move for a seasoned Premier League player who is presently playing for one of the top clubs in the nation.

Will Fulham bring in new players in January?
Few people expected the Cottagers to finish 10th in the table last season after they were promoted from the Championship due to their impressive league play.

After six games played in 2023/24 thus far, Marco Silva’s club is comfortably seated in midtable, winning once, drawing once, and losing twice. Marco Silva is doing an outstanding job as manager. The next match is the combustible London derby against Chelsea on Monday, when Fulham will try to inflict further suffering on the Blues.

Although Silva has put together a strong team at Craven Cottage, it is also obvious that new additions must be made in the January transfer window, or at the at least, next summer, in order to maintain improvement. A recent update indicates that one person is being carefully considered as an alternative.

Which player from the Premier League could Fulham sign?
Scott McTominay, a midfielder for Manchester United, is currently high on Fulham’s list of priority targets, according to Sky Sports News:

Bayern will reportedly continue to keep an eye on Palhinha’s performances for Fulham throughout the fall, and they plan to make another offer when the transfer window reopens on January 1. With more than three months before then, Fulham has more time to find a successor, and Scott McTominay of Manchester United is reportedly still very high on their list.

McTominay may be more receptive to changing clubs in 2024 than he was in the summer transfer window, when Sofyan Amrabat joined from Fiorentina on an initial loan.

“Tottenham’s Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg was another top target for Fulham at the end of the window, but another player who was not keen to move to Craven Cottage in the summer, believing there are bigger clubs out there for him if he is to leave Spurs in the not-too-distant future.”

If Joao Palhinha moves to Bayern Munich, McTominay would be the perfect addition for Fulham in January given his similarities to the current Cottagers favorite.

The Scot has struggled to play regularly under Erik ten Hag at United, where players like Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount, and Bruno Fernandes are preferred to him in the middle of the park. He may seize the chance to establish himself as a regular elsewhere and advance at a crucial time in his career.

McTominay’s Old Trafford deal expires in the summer of 2025, so United may be eager to trade for him before his worth starts to decline. His box-to-box vigor would be a great asset to the club.

The 26-year-old has just found his goalscoring boots in a Scotland shirt, scoring twice in a famous 2-0 triumph over Spain this year and being described as “top class” by compatriot Ally McCoist. The player is perhaps best recognized for his industry and all-around work ethic.
