With the help of the Geelong Cats Foundation, the Club launched the biggest campaign in its history last year. In order to support our future facilities, personnel, and the larger Geelong community, our capital campaign, Advancing the Way We Play, intends to raise $20 million.
As we modernise and expand our Club’s premier high-performance facilities, we will start with our football department’s footprint as part of our commitment to investing in world-class facilities and training our personnel. Our club will keep integrating our women’s programme, creating a brand-new, purpose-built locker room that is sized the same as our men’s programme and customised to meet the demands of our athletes.
Our objective is to contribute to the future-proofing of our Club’s permanent residence at Kardinia Park by building a new indoor multifunctional facility that will have a cutting-edge training pitch for commercial, community and high performance use.
The Costa Family bestowed upon the Club an incredibly transformative gift to assist us in realising our goal.
It is the biggest donation in Australian sports history as well as the largest gift we have ever received.
The Costa Family Centre, a brand-new indoor training facility designed specifically for this purpose, will serve as a symbol of our $10 million commitment to our capital campaign.
