Body found in search for missing Kevin Blackwell from Dymchurch, Romney Marsh

In the course of looking for a 52-year-old man who has been missing for nearly a month, police claim they have discovered a body.

On Romney Marsh, officers have been looking for Kevin Blackwell, who lives in Dymchurch.
He was last seen on May 9 at the village’s Orgarwick Avenue, prompting an appeal on May 15.

Two days later, investigators again appealed to the public for dashcam evidence.
Following confirmation of Mr. Blackwell’s connections to Dover, authorities last week expanded their investigation and published CCTV footage showing him seemingly boarding a bus.
Although formal identification has not yet occurred, his family has been notified, according to a police spokeswoman.

In the Dover region, the discovery was made yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
