The club is currently welcoming applications for the role of Lead First-Team Analyst.
Gillingham FC has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our analysis department as the Lead First-Team Performance Analyst.
Working closely with the first-team coaching staff, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the performance analysis provision is carried out to an elite standard.
Key Responsibilities:
To oversee or conduct:
- Pre-Match analysis
- In-game analysis
- Post-match analysis
- Maintenance of databases to track individual & team long-term performance trends.
- Recruitment & management of analysis placement students.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the coaching staff.
Job Specification:
- Masters or Undergraduate Degree in Sports Science or Performance Analysis.
- Experience working within a professional football club analysis department.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experience with StatsBomb IQ data (Desirable)
- Experience with coding languages – Python or R (Desirable)
- Experience with Hudl Pro Suite Software (Sportscode, Replay, Studio)
- Fully committed with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
- Full Driving License.
