Cannabis plants seized from multiple houses in Gordon Road in Gillingham during police raid
A residential street raid resulted in the seizure of cannabis plants from several homes.
Yesterday, may 16, officers discovered the class-B substance in two residences located on Gordon Road in Gillingham.
Shortly after six in the morning, police were contacted regarding a possible sighting of cannabis at a residence.
When officers arrived, they took out the illicit material.
After that, they investigated a nearby house and discovered other plants, which they confiscated.
According to the police, the event is still being looked into.
After more than 500 cannabis plants were discovered on an industrial site in Kent, a man was taken into custody.
Concerns were voiced, therefore on Thursday, officers from Canterbury’s Community Safety Unit went to the Herne Bay location.
According to Kent Police, after breaking into the premises, “officers found hundreds of plants at different stages of growth.”
A 34-year-old guy is being held in detention after being detained on suspicion of growing cannabis.
According to the force, the plants and growing supplies were seized, and an investigation is still underway.
