Gillingham: Two arrests today with weapons

Following a fight involving four individuals in Kent, a male and an adolescent boy were taken into custody.
At 6:30 am BST on Friday, emergency personnel were summoned to Richmond Road in Gillingham.
It was claimed by Kent Police that some of the group’s members were armed.

Two Gillingham residents, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, were taken into custody in relation to the incident on Thursday.
Police claimed that they are still being held while investigations are ongoing.
“We understand that there were several members of the public in the area at the time, and we would like to talk to anyone with information about the incident,” stated Ellen Compton, the investigating officer.

“We believe that these suspects are known to each other and that there is no risk to the wider public.”
