Teenager repeatedly stabbed in ‘unprovoked and appalling’ in gillingham town centre attack*

A 16-year-old kid and Dimeiro Campbell were imprisoned for attacking an unknown individual.

An unprovoked knife attack on a teenager resulted in the imprisonment of a man and a 16-year-old. On March 9, 2023, Dimeiro Campbell and a 16-year-old lad were in Gillingham town center’s High Street when they noticed an unknown youngster.

After a brief exchange of words, they came up to him and repeatedly stabbed him. After the victim hit the ground, someone stabbed him in the back.

The victim’s wounds included an arterial bleed from one of his arms, among other traumas. Tourniquets were used as part of the first aid provided by police officers and two bystanders. After receiving life-threatening medical attention, he was sent to the hospital and has since been released.
Before the cops arrived, the attackers left the site. The 16-year-old culprit was identified by local constables using CCTV footage that the officers collected from the scene.

 

The second individual implicated was verified to be Campbell, and on March 10th, both were taken into custody: Campbell at Victoria Railway Station in London, and the younger adolescent at his home address in Watford, Hertfordshire. One of the knives that had been stashed in an alleyway close to Campbell’s house on Chester Road in Gillingham was also found by investigators.
