The Green Bay Packers could be at pretty close to full strength for their Monday night game at the Las Vegas Raiders.
GREEN BAY, Wis. – For a team coming off an extended break following a Thursday night game, the Green Bay Packers have a lengthy list of injured players. However, most of those players should be available for Monday night’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, including two starters who returned to practice on Friday.
As coach Matt LaFleur indicated on Thursday, safety Rudy Ford was back at practice after missing Tuesday and Thursday with an oblique injury. Plus, right guard Jon Runyan was back on the field, as well. Like Ford, he missed practices on Tuesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury.
Since winning the vacant starting job late in training camp, Ford has been a mainstay of the defense. Ford is second on the team with three passes defensed and third with 26 tackles. He played all 75 snaps against the Lions on Thursday night.
Runyan suffered what he called a “really bad sprain” of an ankle early against Detroit but played through the injury. He’s played all 246 snaps this season and has started 35 of a possible 36 games since the start of the 2021 season.

“Yeah, I think it’s just you’ve got more comfort in those guys, more confidence that they’re going to be able to go out there and execute at a high level,” LaFleur said. “We all got to do it. We’ve got to get them a good play and then we’ve got to go out there and execute.”
Alexander has looked good with limited reps, LaFleur said, with the clear hope of getting him at his best for Monday.
It’s possible Campbell will be the only starter not available against the Raiders.
After piling up 14 tackles against his former team, the Atlanta Falcons, in Week 2, Campbell suffered an ankle injury early in the Week 3 game against the Saints. LaFleur said Campbell is “moving around a lot better” but his return to action is more realistic following the upcoming bye.
Isaiah McDuffie, a sixth-round pick in 2021 who entered the season with one career start, seems destined to start a second consecutive game. He was in on nine tackles vs. Detroit.
“Yeah, I think Isaiah’s done a nice job,” LaFleur said. “He’s a guy that, you’ve seen the growth and development over the course of the years with him. Certainly, he’s always been a steady force on special teams. It’s good to see his play style on our defense. He’s a guy that definitely plays the way we want him to play. He’s very physical and he trusts what he sees and he shoots. There’s no hesitation in his play.”
For the Raiders, receiver Davante Adams did not practice for a second consecutive day but quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is out of the concussion protocol and was a full participant.
