A road has been closed by North Yorkshire Police because of a “serious” collision.
The force reported today that traffic had been stopped on the B6451 near Harrogate.
The area near the Penny Pot Lane intersection had been closed off between Norwood and the A59.
A spokesman suggested that drivers take an alternate route and stay away from the area.
Overnight, a road in North Yorkshire was closed while law enforcement responded to a “serious” collision.

Traffic Information Service in the morning, Inrix verified that the route was back in operation. Information has been requested from the police.
