This season, the 27-year-old has been one of his new team’s best players, playing well at right-back and central midfield.
Sheron has started all 23 of the Pools team’s games thus far, making him the only player to be consistently present.
Sheron has adapted quickly to life in the North East after moving from Oldham, where he played regularly for two seasons, over the summer.
His tough-tackling style, unwavering work ethic, and adaptability have quickly made him a fan favorite.
Pools appear to have turned around and are now encroaching on the National League play-offs, despite a challenging start to the season.
When seasoned manager Lennie Lawrence took over for Darren Sarll in October, Pools were closer to the relegation zone. However, a run of only one loss in their previous eight games has put them within striking distance of the top seven.
And Sheron, one of a few players to have received consistent praise throughout this season, can’t get enough of life at the Prestige Group Stadium.
“It’s been brilliant,” he said.
“I’m really enjoying my time here.
“It’s encouraging that we’ve improved, and perhaps this marks the beginning of something positive.
“We have known our goals since the beginning of the season, and maybe we can begin to produce some outcomes.

We believe that Lennie has given us the direction we need to start right away.
“Let’s keep going because I don’t think we’ve been nearly as good as we know we can be and it’s only the beginning.”
