Hearts injury latest: Six players ruled out of Tynecastle meeting

Prior to their Premiership match against Kilmarnock this Saturday, Hearts has welcomed back four first-team players, while numerous more are still absent. For the trip to Edinburgh, the visitors are also missing two of their more seasoned campaigners.

With a win at Tynecastle Park, Derek McInnes will want to see his team get closer to Hearts in the race for European spots. Kilmarnock will mainly compete against St Mirren and Hibs for fourth place, with the Gorgie team sitting 11 points clear of their rivals and strong favourites to take third place.

Before the game, the following injury updates are available:

1. Liam Boyce (Hearts): Out

Back running after surgery but not in full training yet.

2. Brad Lyons (Kilmarnock): Out

Expected back early next month after a knee issue.

3. Peter Haring (Hearts): Out

Surgery rules out the Austrian midfielder.

4. Kyle Magennis (Kilmarnock): Out

Ruled out until next season due to a hamstring problem
