Bulls Playmaker Agrees Deal For 2024/25 Season*

We are delighted to announce that influential midfielder, Alex Babos, has agreed a new contract to stay at Edgar Street for the 2024/25 season.

Babos, who signed from Banbury United last summer, has had a huge impact since arriving at the club, contributing double figure totals both in terms of goals and assists.

He has established himself as a firm fans’ favourite and Bulls boss, Paul Caddis, has spoken of his excitement after securing the services of such an influential player for next season.

“Alex has been exceptional for us this season and his numbers back that up with double figures for goals and assists. He has been a huge factor in what’s been a brilliant season for the group so far and we are really excited to be working with Alex again for next season.

“It was vitally important we got ‘Babs’ tied down as there was a lot of interest coming his way – some of it better financially – so for him to want to stay with us speaks volumes of where he sees himself under the current management and his happiness at our football club.

“We are continuing to try to build the football club with stability and a character the supporters deserve, and Alex is a vital part of that.”

Meanwhile, a delighted Babos said:

“I’ve loved every minute since arriving here so it was a no brainer to get things sorted again for next year. The momentum at the club is there for everyone to see and I’m really looking forward to seeing what the end of this season and beyond brings!”
