Leeds 20-year-old jets out to Dubai to complete move to Hibs’

Kris Moore is yet to make his professional debut at senior level but the Leeds United talent is now set to do so as he is about to join Hibernian on loan – and has jetted out to Dubai to join his new side.

Moore, 20, continues to impress for the club’s Under-21 side – now clocking up 58 appearances for the second string. He has also been on the bench once this season, in the Carabao Cup win vs Shrewsbury.

He has got to the point where he needs to leave Leeds. There was a point in the summer where he may have been hopeful of getting game time at senior level – playing in a friendly against Manchester United.

But instead, he has been limited to captaining the U21 side this term – given the form of Joe Rodon on the right of central defence. Pascal Struijk, Liam Cooper and Charlie Cresswell sit ahead of Moore, too.

Reports earlier this month stated that Moore was set for a move to Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, on loan. Now, TeamTalk report that Moore is off to Hibs – with a loan deal done for the top-tier outfit.

Leeds man Kris Moore jets out to Dubai ahead of Hibernian move

He flew to Dubai to join Hibernian’s squad for a warm-weather training camp before returning to action on January 20 against Forfar in the Cup. Moore is expected to be involved.

He could potentially feature in a friendly against Swiss side Servette on the 12th in Dubai, which Leeds plundered to recruit Moore’s U21 centre-back partner, Diogo Monteiro.

Moore is likely to join Hibernian on loan, marking our third transaction of the summer after recalling Sonny Perkins and cancelling Djed Spence’s loan. He has a contract with Leeds until 2025.
